The collection crew will clean the sewer main line using a hydraulic jetter, to accumulate debris in a maintenance hole – in this case, grease.  The debris is ready to be vacuumed out of the maintenance hole.

The truck is positioned and the crew attaches the vacuum tubes.

The overhead boom is extendable, giving crews more room and accessibility to the maintenance hole.

The controls for the boom, vacuum and hydraulic jetter are all placed on front reel.

The truck holds a variety of tube sizes; crew determines how many are needed to reach debris.

Often, crews combine to perform multiple tasks on a given section of pipe. This image shows one vacuum crew, one rodder crew, and one television inspection crew.

Vacuuming begins.

Looking better already!
