Darel Woodward
Darel earned his Associate of Science degree in Wastewater Treatment Operations at Santa Rosa Junior College. He also holds certificates in Wastewater Treatment Operations, Water Utility Operations, and Water Distribution Systems Operations and Maintenance.
Darel recently spent over two years at the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, where his duties included the operation and maintenance of various water and wastewater equipment. On his days off, Darel volunteered at Napa Sanitation District to complete his Operator-in- Training hours. He is eager to start his journey as a wastewater treatment plant operator at Oro Loma.
Troy Determan
Troy Determan was hired as a Plant Operator II on July 27, 2020. He is a graduate of the Local 39 apprenticeship program and has 15 years of experience in wastewater with the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission. In his spare time, Troy enjoys fishing, boating on the Bay, and hiking in East Bay Regional Parks.
