San Lorenzo, CA, November 28, 2023 – Oro Loma has again won the Government Finance Officers Association’s (GFOA) award for excellence in financial reporting. This is the 28th consecutive year that Oro Loma has received the award.
Jimmy Dang, Oro Loma General Manager, said that this award is proof of the high standards set for public reporting and transparency for the District and its customers. “We commend our finance staff or their ongoing commitment to excellence and their leadership in the profession. We are honored to be recognized again.” he added.
The GFOA’s Award for Excellence in Government Finance recognizes innovative programs and contributions to the practice of government finance that exemplify outstanding financial management. The award stresses practical, documented work that offers leadership to the profession and promotes transparency in public finance.
