The District proposes to implement the Wet Weather Outfall and Nutrient Optimization Project, which would include rehabilitating existing facilities and installing new equipment at the wastewater treatment plant.  The new equipment installed will improve nutrient removal from the wastewater, and the rehabilitated shallow water outfall will be used to release advanced secondary treated water during peak wet-weather flows.

On October 3, 2017, following a Public Hearing, the Board unanimously voted to adopt Resolution No. 3644, A Resolution to Adopt a Mitigated Negative Declaration: Oro Loma Sanitary District Wet Weather Outfall and Nutrient Optimization Project.
