Staff celebrates over 11 years of continuous permit compliance.

Wastewater from our customers comes in 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our employees must be ready for storms and power outages, and perform maintenance while continuing to meet or exceed all permit requirements. This year, we reached 11 years of continuous compliance with permit standards for the quality of our treated wastewater. The achievement reflects our staff’s commitment to serve our customers and manage the pipes, pumps, and equipment well, so they can operate reliably under all conditions.
To insure that this excellence continues, the Board has increased the budget for ongoing pipe replacements by 33% for the next two fiscal years. Accelerating the pace to repair or replace faulty pipes means that the customers will continue to count on the same highly reliable service for years to come.
